Foster parents are provided with significant training and round the clock support to care for a young person (or persons) in need.
Texas has nearly 25,000 kids who have been removed from their families due to abuse, neglect or other reasons. Foster Texas is an effort to find caring and compassionate homes for young people across the Lone Star State.

Your local organization will work with you to complete the remaining steps, including; a background check, training and home inspection. Their dedicated staff will also support you throughout your foster parent journey, answering your questions and connecting you with any resources you may need.
